Once again, excellence in IT solutions has been sought and recognized, including the prestigious award for ICT implementation at the VIDI Awards in Croatia.
The ICT Gold Awards is Vidia’s premium award for which, first and foremost, user satisfaction with the implemented solution must be determined, so that both sides are considered—both the provider and the product’s customer. The nominated solutions undergo a complex process of two-way evaluation, and therefore the award winners truly have the market’s endorsement.
The ceremony for the ICT Gold Awards for the best ICT solutions by Croatian companies was held as part of the VIDI Awards BIG3 conference. The awards were presented by the founder and editor-in-chief of Vidi magazine. The award for the implementation of AIDA vertical integration in industry, carried out at TDR, was presented in the Industry 4.0 category to Marijan Sever, director of CODEL d.o.o.
The challenge of connecting even older machines in an industrial plant with an advanced BI system like SAP was intelligently solved by CODEL d.o.o. with its AIDA solution for vertical integration at TDR’s large factory in Kanfanar. This implementation enabled real-time data transfer from SAP to the machines on the shop floor, as well as real-time data from the machines back to SAP.
“After we submitted the nomination documentation, we completely forgot about it, so the award came as a very pleasant surprise. You know, everyone today likes to think their company is unbeatable, and I hope that’s at least partly true for us.” – said Marijan Sever, director of CODEL d.o.o., upon receiving the award.
Regarding the award-winning solution, Mr. Ivan Leko, Director of Business Operations in the Adria class at the time of the evaluation, said, “AIDA has become our primary integration point for real-time processes within our company.”
