What is Person-to-Goods?
In the “operator-to-goods” model, the operator moves through storage zones and picks items from designated locations along a programmatically optimized route. The system guides the operator through the entire process—what to pick, from where, how much, and for which order—while the mobile station enables multiple orders to be fulfilled in a single pass.
When does P2G make sense?
The P2G approach is used in warehouses with a large number of different items and a need for assortment flexibility. It is typically applied in 3PL operations, distribution centers, and warehouses where the physical infrastructure does not support full automation, but there is room for significant increases in productivity and accuracy.
Work principle
Ariadne analyzes all active orders and assigns them to the mobile workstation’s scales. The operator uses the Ariadne system as a mobile work unit: the program defines the route, locations, and sorting sequence, and the integrated weighing verifies the accuracy of the packaging before the order is completed.

ALCA - L'Oreal Logistics
Codel implemented the Ariadne Stock Master Mobile system at ALCA, a major Croatian 3PL company, as part of its logistics operations for L’Oréal. The goal of the project was to increase picking productivity, optimize operator routes, and improve the traceability and accuracy of order fulfillment.
The system was implemented without major disruptions, with operators quickly adapting to it and clearly visible improvements in speed (a 30%+ increase in picking efficiency) and order fulfillment accuracy.

Both models address the same operational problem: order picking in a warehouse, but through different movement strategies.
