AIDA WMS and AIDA WES support different but connected layers of warehouse operations. AIDA WMS manages inventory, storage locations, warehouse orders, operator tasks, and warehouse rules. AIDA WES coordinates how transport tasks are executed across automated equipment and material-flow systems.
In a connected automated warehouse, AIDA WMS defines and records the required warehouse work, while AIDA WES orchestrates the corresponding physical movements and returns execution statuses and exceptions.
