Project Title: Advanced System for the Identification and Marking of Aida-Maiden Products
PROJECT DESCRIPTION: CODEL has long-standing experience in manufacturing special industrial printers, markers, marking systems, and related equipment and software. The challenge CODEL faces every day is to develop and deploy an industrial system that can apply an identifier to virtually any product, regardless of its weight, packaging, or shape. Today, in fully automated industries, the labeling of specific products is still partially done manually, requiring a lot of human labor that is often inaccurate and unreliable. This causes significant costs and difficulties. This innovation provides the solution in this area.
The goal of the project is the commercialization of an innovation called AIDA-MAIDEN, which represents a universal tagging system. In order for the company to prepare for all the challenges that the commercialization of the aforementioned innovation entails, it is necessary to innovate the organization and business processes within the company itself. In this regard, this project has been designed, which consists of the following phases:
1. Development of a simulator for production conditions
- development of specific elements of the work environment simulator,
- development and implementation of a visual inspection and quality control system,
- adaptation of software solutions for the analysis of test results,
- implementation of hardware and software solution for managing the robotic part of the simulator.
2. Employee training and creation of documentation for system use
3. Inclusion of a new product in the commercialization system.
TOTAL PROJECT VALUE: 8,531,047.56 kuna
TOTAL ELIGIBLE EXPENSES: 7,545,511.32 HRK
EU co-financing amount: 3,730,521.64 kuna
